The International Financial Trading Championship ("IFTC") is an educational and competitive platform operated by Institut Perunding Kewangan & Komoditi Antarabangsa ("IFCCI"), a society registered under the Registrar of Societies Malaysia (ROS). IFTC is designed to evaluate and rank trading performance in a transparent and standardised manner. It is not an investment advisory service, asset management service, fund management operation, or financial planning service.

IFTC does not:

• Provide financial advice, trade signals, investment recommendations, or portfolio management of any kind;
• Solicit, receive, hold, or manage any participant funds, securities, derivatives, or digital assets;
• Act as a broker, dealer, market maker, introducing broker, or any other intermediary in the execution of financial transactions;
• Guarantee, imply, or represent that participation in IFTC will result in financial gain or trading proficiency.

Past performance displayed on any IFTC leaderboard, ranking, profile, or communication does not guarantee or indicate future results. Trading results achieved during any IFTC season or edition are historical and should not be relied upon as indicative of future trading performance under any market condition.

All information provided by IFTC, including but not limited to leaderboard data, TPI scores, rankings, trader profiles, and educational materials, is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any representation or warranty, express or implied.

By participating in IFTC, you acknowledge and accept that:

1. Leveraged Trading Risk: Trading on margin (leverage) means that a small market movement can result in a proportionally much larger movement in the value of your position. This can work both in your favour and against you. You may sustain losses exceeding your initial deposit or margin.
2. Market Risk: Financial markets are inherently volatile. Prices of currencies, commodities, indices, and other instruments can fluctuate rapidly and unpredictably due to economic events, geopolitical developments, natural disasters, regulatory changes, or other factors beyond anyone's control.
3. Liquidity Risk: Under certain market conditions, it may be difficult or impossible to execute orders at desired prices due to lack of liquidity, resulting in slippage or inability to close positions.
4. Technology Risk: Electronic trading systems are subject to failures including hardware, software, and internet connectivity disruptions. Such failures may prevent order execution, cause erroneous executions, or result in delayed data transmission.
5. Counterparty Risk: Your broker or trading platform may become insolvent, default on obligations, or cease operations. IFTC bears no responsibility for the solvency, conduct, or operational continuity of any broker or platform.
6. Regulatory Risk: Changes in laws, regulations, or policies in any jurisdiction may adversely affect your ability to trade, the value of your positions, or the legality of certain instruments.
7. No Liability for Trading Losses: IFTC and IFCCI are not responsible, liable, or accountable for any trading losses, margin calls, account liquidations, or any other financial consequences incurred by participants, whether during or outside of IFTC competition periods.

You should carefully consider your financial situation, experience, risk tolerance, and investment objectives before engaging in leveraged trading. If you are unsure about any aspect of trading, you should seek independent professional financial advice from a licensed financial adviser.

IFTC maintains a list of approved trading platforms and brokers for competition compatibility purposes. The inclusion of any broker, trading platform, or service provider on this list constitutes technical compatibility approval only and does not constitute:

• An endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of any broker or platform's services, reliability, regulatory status, financial standing, or suitability;
• A representation that the broker or platform is licensed, regulated, or authorised in your jurisdiction;
• A warranty that the broker or platform will honour its obligations to you or provide satisfactory service;
• An indication of any financial, commercial, affiliate, referral, or revenue-sharing relationship between IFCCI/IFTC and the broker or platform.

IFCCI and IFTC have no financial relationship, introducing broker agreement, affiliate arrangement, revenue-sharing arrangement, or any other commercial arrangement with any listed broker or platform unless explicitly disclosed in writing.

Participants are solely responsible for:

• Conducting their own due diligence on any broker or platform before opening an account;
• Verifying the regulatory status and licensing of their chosen broker in their own jurisdiction;
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in their country of residence;
• All interactions, disputes, and claims arising from their relationship with their chosen broker or platform.

4.1 Read-Only Access Model

IFTC connects to participant trading accounts exclusively via investor passwords (also known as read-only passwords) provided by MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms. Investor passwords are a standard feature of MetaTrader platforms that grant view-only access to account data.

By design and by the technical limitations of investor passwords, IFTC:

• Cannot execute, modify, or cancel any trade or pending order on your account;
• Cannot deposit, withdraw, or transfer any funds from your account;
• Cannot change any account settings, leverage, or passwords;
• Can only read account balance, equity, open positions, trade history, and performance metrics for ranking purposes.

4.2 Data Collection and Use

IFTC collects and processes the following data:

• Account data: Email address, display name, trading alias, country of residence, and trader profile information provided during registration;
• Trading performance data: Account balance, equity, profit/loss, trade history, drawdown, and other performance metrics obtained via read-only API connections;
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage analytics for security and service improvement purposes.

4.3 Public Display of Performance Data

By participating in IFTC, you explicitly consent to the public display of your:

• Trading alias and display name;
• Country of residence (country flag);
• Trading performance metrics including but not limited to TPI score, profit/loss percentage, drawdown, win rate, and ranking position;
• Awards, titles, badges, tier designations, and recognition received through IFTC.

Your real name, email address, broker account number, and actual account balance are never publicly displayed.

4.4 Data Security

IFTC employs industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest;
• Secure storage of investor passwords using encryption;
• Access controls limiting data access to authorised systems and personnel only;
• Regular security reviews and monitoring of system access.

However, no system is completely secure. IFTC cannot guarantee absolute security of data and shall not be liable for any unauthorised access resulting from security breaches beyond our reasonable control.

4.5 Data Retention and Deletion

Trading performance data and rankings are retained indefinitely as part of IFTC's historical competition records. Participants may request deletion of their personal data (email, profile information) by contacting support@ifcci.org.my. However, anonymised or aggregated performance data and historical rankings may be retained for archival and statistical purposes.

By registering for and participating in any IFTC season, edition, or event, you agree to the following:

1. Rule Modifications: IFCCI reserves the absolute right to modify, amend, supplement, or replace any competition rules, scoring methodology (including TPI calculations), eligibility criteria, prize structures, season dates, or any other aspect of the competition at any time and at its sole discretion. Reasonable efforts will be made to notify participants of material changes, but IFCCI is not obligated to provide prior notice.
2. Disqualification: IFCCI reserves the right to disqualify any participant at any time for any reason, including but not limited to: suspected manipulation, use of prohibited trading strategies (e.g. arbitrage exploitation, copy trading from disqualified accounts), provision of false or misleading information, violation of competition rules, or conduct deemed detrimental to the integrity of the competition.
3. Automated Calculations: Rankings, TPI scores, and performance metrics are generated by automated systems. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, these calculations may contain errors, discrepancies, or delays. IFTC does not warrant the accuracy of automated calculations at any given point in time.
4. Prize Distribution: All prizes, awards, titles, certifications, and recognition are subject to verification of eligibility, compliance with competition rules, and completion of any required KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures. IFCCI reserves the right to withhold, delay, or rescind any prize if irregularities are detected.
5. Final Decisions: All decisions made by IFCCI and the IFTC Competition Committee regarding rankings, disqualifications, prizes, rule interpretation, and dispute resolution are final and binding. No appeals process is guaranteed unless explicitly provided.
6. No Entitlement: Participation in IFTC does not create any entitlement to prizes, recognition, continued participation, or any other benefit. IFCCI may suspend, cancel, or discontinue the competition at any time.

All content, materials, methodologies, systems, and intellectual property associated with IFTC are the exclusive property of IFCCI or its licensors. This includes but is not limited to:

• The Trader Performance Index (TPI) scoring system, its formula, weighting methodology, and all related calculations;
• The IFTC name, logo, branding, visual identity, and all associated trademarks and service marks;
• The Midas Hand Award concept, design, criteria, and branding;
• The competition structure, tier system (Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze), ranking methodology, and recognition framework;
• All website content, software, code, databases, designs, graphics, text, and multimedia materials;
• Educational and analytical content produced in connection with the competition.

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, creation of derivative works, public display, or commercial exploitation of any IFTC intellectual property is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from IFCCI.

Participants grant IFCCI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use their trading alias, display name, country, performance data, and competition results for promotional, educational, archival, and operational purposes in connection with IFTC.

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Malaysia (including the Contracts Act 1950, the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007, and all subsidiary legislation) and applicable international law:

1. General Limitation: IFCCI, its officers, directors, committee members, employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliates (collectively, the "IFCCI Parties") shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in IFTC, use of the IFTC website, or reliance on any information provided by IFTC.
2. Trading Losses: The IFCCI Parties shall have no liability whatsoever for any trading losses, margin calls, account liquidations, or any other financial losses incurred by participants, regardless of whether such losses occur during or outside of IFTC competition periods.
3. Third-Party Services: The IFCCI Parties shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or disruptions caused by: broker or trading platform failures, outages, or insolvency; MetaApi or other third-party API service interruptions; internet connectivity failures; data feed delays or inaccuracies; or any other third-party service failure.
4. System Errors: The IFCCI Parties shall not be liable for any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in rankings, TPI scores, performance data, or any other automated calculations, whether caused by software bugs, data feed issues, or other technical factors.
5. Force Majeure: The IFCCI Parties shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, regulatory changes, wars, civil unrest, cyberattacks, power outages, or telecommunications failures.
6. Maximum Aggregate Liability: In no event shall the total aggregate liability of the IFCCI Parties for all claims arising out of or in connection with IFTC exceed the total fees (if any) paid by the participant to IFTC in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or Malaysian Ringgit One Hundred (RM 100.00), whichever is greater.

IFTC relies on third-party APIs and data sources for the collection, processing, and display of trading performance data. Specifically:

• Trading account data is obtained via MetaApi (metaapi.cloud) and/or mtapi.online, which connect to MT4/MT5 trading servers operated by independent brokers;
• Data transmission may be subject to delays, interruptions, or errors caused by network latency, server load, broker-side delays, or API limitations;
• Performance metrics, including profit/loss figures, TPI scores, and rankings, are calculated based on the data received and may not reflect real-time account status.

IFTC makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any performance data, ranking, or score displayed on the IFTC platform;
• The continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation of the IFTC platform, APIs, or any related systems;
• The fitness of any information for any particular purpose, including but not limited to investment decisions.

All data displayed on IFTC is provided for informational and competition purposes only. Users should not make any financial, investment, or trading decisions based solely on data displayed on the IFTC platform.

These terms, disclaimers, and all matters arising out of or in connection with IFTC and your participation therein shall be:

1. Governed by the laws of Malaysia, including but not limited to the Contracts Act 1950, the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007, the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, the Computer Crimes Act 1997, and all applicable subsidiary legislation, without regard to conflict of laws principles;
2. Subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Selangor, Malaysia, and you irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of such courts for the resolution of any dispute, claim, or cause of action arising out of or relating to IFTC;
3. Arbitration: IFCCI may, at its sole discretion, elect to resolve any dispute through binding arbitration administered by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in accordance with its applicable rules. The language of arbitration shall be English.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
