Monthly Rankings

Based on TPI scores over each calendar month. Top 10 traders receive monthly recognition on the leaderboard and recognition page.

Annual Rankings

Aggregate performance across the full championship year. Top 250 are ranked into Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze tiers.

The Midas Hand

The highest individual honor — awarded annually to the year's most exceptional trader based on overall TPI performance, consistency, risk management, and trading discipline.

TPI Scoring

TPI Open

TPIcharity=Net Profit/Realized Drawdown

Used for the main championship leaderboard. Realized Drawdown is the cumulative sum of all losing trades. All Charity Edition participants are ranked by this metric.

TPI Pro

TPIprize=Net Profit/Max Drawdown

Used for prize pool eligibility. May have additional qualifying criteria beyond the base formula.

TPI is calculated over a 30-day rolling window. Rankings reset at the start of each monthly cycle.

Edge cases: If net profit is zero or negative, TPI = 0. If maximum drawdown is 0 (no drawdown), TPI is capped at 999.99.

Frequently Asked Questions

IFTC (International Financial Trading Championship) is a global trading competition governed by IFCCI. It tracks real, verified trading performance across 20 regulated platforms, ranking participants by the proprietary TPI (Trading Performance Index) scoring system.

The Charity Edition entry requires a USD 10 charitable contribution. IFCCI members may be eligible for discounted entry fees. This is not a fee — 100% of the contribution goes to designated charitable causes. There are no hidden costs or recurring charges.

IFTC supports 20 approved trading platforms regulated by 10 international authorities. These include major brokers across forex, commodities, indices, and crypto markets. The full list of approved platforms is available on the championship homepage.

Yes. IFTC only accepts live (real money) trading accounts. Demo accounts are not permitted, ensuring all performance data reflects genuine trading with real capital at risk.

An Investor Password (also called a read-only password) allows the system to view your account performance without the ability to execute, modify, or close any trades. It is the industry-standard method for sharing account performance. Your credentials are encrypted and stored securely.

TPI (Trading Performance Index) measures risk-adjusted returns. There are two variants: TPI Open = Net Profit ÷ Realized Drawdown (sum of all losing trades), and TPI Pro = Net Profit ÷ Maximum Drawdown (peak-to-trough equity decline). Both are calculated over a 30-day rolling window. Higher TPI means better profit relative to risk.

Performance data is tracked on a weekly cycle. Monthly TPI scores determine the official monthly rankings. Annual rankings aggregate the full year's performance for Top 250 tier recognition and Midas Hand consideration.

Yes, you can connect multiple trading accounts from different approved platforms. Each account is tracked independently, and your best-performing account determines your ranking position.

The Midas Hand is the highest individual honor in the IFTC Championship, awarded annually to the year's most exceptional trader. It considers overall TPI performance, consistency, risk management, and trading volume across the full championship year.

IFTC maintains a strict integrity framework. Suspicious activity such as wash trading, spoofing, or result manipulation triggers an investigation by the Independent Championship Committee. Violations may result in score nullification, temporary suspension, or permanent disqualification.
