Applause filled the halls of Loon Sing Convention Hall (Taman Daya) in Johor as the Malaysia Most Outstanding Wealth Advisor (MMOWA 2025) Awards concluded with distinction — a night dedicated to honouring integrity, professionalism, and ethical financial leadership across the nation’s advisory sector.

According to an official report by BusinessCircleKL (“MMOWA 2025: Let Integrity Shine, Let Professionalism Be Seen”, published on 29 October 2025 the event, hosted by the Majlis Tindakan Pengguna Negara (MTPN), celebrated 12 exemplary professionals representing nine major financial sectors. All were inducted into the Malaysia Top 100 Outstanding Financial Advisors Honor Roll, marking what the report described as “a national reaffirmation of values, a night where trust shone bright, effort was seen, and integrity prevailed.”

A National Gathering of Ethical Leadership

The ceremony drew an impressive line-up of guests from both government bodies and professional organisations, signifying its national importance.
As reported by BusinessCircleKL, attendees included YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. G.P. Doraisamy A/L Govindasamy, Honorary Secretary-General of the Malaysia World Humanitarian Drive; YBhg. Dato’ Paduka Dr. Kevy K.V. Yeo, National President of MTPN; YBrs. Tuan Vincent Lee Seng Chiang, Group Senior General Manager of Media Solutions, Media Chinese International Limited; and several senior representatives from MATRADE, MyIPO, and the Johor State Government.

Their presence underscored Malaysia’s unified commitment to strengthening ethical financial practices and consumer protection, positioning the nation as a regional leader in values-based finance.

Integrity as a National Asset

Quoting MTPN President YBhg. Dato’ Paduka Dr. Kevy K.V. Yeo, BusinessCircleKL highlighted:

“We want society to recognise those who uphold trust with sincerity and professionalism, those who educate consumers, protect the public, and drive ethical progress in the industry. These individuals are Malaysia’s true assets.”

Dr. Yeo further noted that MMOWA aligns with the Bank Negara Malaysia Financial Literacy Framework and the Securities Commission’s Capital Market Masterplan 3 (CMP3) — reinforcing education, transparency, and consumer empowerment as the pillars of financial development.

Recognising Malaysia’s Ethical Vanguard

As detailed in the BusinessCircleKL report, MMOWA 2025 recognised 12 professionals among 87 national nominees for their contribution to integrity, innovation, education, and social impact.
Honourees included Prof. Dato’ Dr. Kingston Chang King Hon, Cassey Chong Huei Sze, Nikko Tan Li Rong, Steve Soo Teng Fu, Yeoh Hong Xiang, Bryan Hiu Tze Yen, Kingston Neo, Kelvin Tan Kah Yong, Lee Yun Ping, Ethan Sim Hing Foo, Brandon Tan Kah Wei, and Beina Yap Suet Yee.

Towards Global Benchmarking in Financial Ethics

MTPN National Vice President YBrs. Tuan Noorman bin Kamsani announced during the ceremony that MTPN will collaborate with the International Financial Consultant Certified Institute (IFCCI) to build an international evaluation framework and continuing education system.
This initiative, as noted by BusinessCircleKL, will include the establishment of regional judging chapters across Asia, further advancing Malaysia’s leadership in ethical finance.

Guest of Honour Prof. Dato’ Dr. G.P. Doraisamy was quoted as saying:

“Professionalism must go global, while integrity must stay local. When Malaysia balances world-class standards with local conscience, we become Asia’s most trusted hub for financial advisors.”

A Legacy of Values Over Vanity

Concluding the event, BusinessCircleKL cited MTPN President Dato’ Paduka Dr. Kevy Yeo:

“Financial advisors form part of a nation’s trust system. When a country values integrity, its economy becomes unshakable. Through MMOWA, we want the world to witness Malaysia’s strength in ethical leadership.”

As the report aptly summarised, “Awards can be replicated, but spirit cannot. Because there are those who take their work seriously, the world remains worthy of trust.”
